In regards to Why Netflix sucks, it looks like Amazon has finally made available their streaming service Instant Streaming service to Playstation 3 owners. I've been waiting for this for ages, I wouldn't have ever consider getting a Prime account until they made their service available on the PS3. Why is the Playstation 3 the best platform for movies? First of all, it's an upgradable 3D Bluray player. The upgrade part is important, because if a new future platform is introduced, Sony will make their player compatible. Second, it plays tons of format, like MP4, Divx, etc. This is also important because compared to Xbox, which only support a few formats (and can't even play 3D!) Third, it plays games. That's probably not as important to people who just want to watch Blurays, but if you think about it: at least you have that option. Fourth, free applications like Netflix, Vudu and Amazon. Hear that? FREE, compared to Xbox which costs an additional $70+ a year for their "gold" account. Fifth, you can browse the web on the TV, even though PS3's browser is super slow and crashes a lot. Anyway, I will be trying out a month free and I'll probably just buy the service (unless their selection sucks...) >>>
