From Vu This one was expensive to import.
The boxset could never be sold in the USA: (1) due to Sony's Region 1 legal rights for distribution and (2) the stainless steel dagger would be a lawsuit waiting to happen if some child accidentally murder someone with the weapon. However, I'm pretty sure there is a grey market where you can get your hands on this item. The packaging is pretty sweet, the wooden box is sturdy with the title logo etched in. The 4-Disc set comes in a nice handsome book with the first four pages in thick cardboard (to house the discs) with the rest of its pages devoted to pictures of the stars and written text. The content is in Chinese, so I couldn't tell you anything else about it. As for the "flying dagger" itself, mine had discoloring and rusts on the wooden handle, possibly due to water damage or disuse. The blade is nice and shiny. Anyway, a really, really nice boxset. Movie makers should take note on packages like these, because I buy stuff like this.... even if the movie wasn't very good. |
