I'm not sure if I should be listing the original Hong Kong release on DVD as "Kwang Tung" or "Kwangtung", but it's listed as two words.
It's been a long time since I saw this movie, but from what I can remember: it was a long movie and full of twists. I want to say that this movie is considered one of the last "Venoms" movie, but not one of my favorite by Chang Cheh (but still better than "Heaven & Hell" or "Nine Demons" which are awful stinkers). For those searching for a non-Region 3 version, the best one is released by Tokyo Shock/Media Blasters. The other two bootlegs (NS Video and Red Studio) are region free and English dubbed, but I don't recommend supporting them. Note that Amazon is showing a different cover for Tokyo Shock and Red Sun; although they could be variant or updated covers. |
