Universal Pictures is re-issuing THE BIG LEBOWSKI as part of their Universal's 100th Anniversary, coming out this week (June 5th). I don't know what this mean for the Blu-ray book version of the film, but I suspect they are going to be phasing it out in favor of the traditional packaging. I know that the digital redemption of the film expires at the end of the year (2012). Currently, the book version is on sale for $15 at Target and Wal-Mart, which is cheaper than Best Buy ($20) or amazon.com ($16). |
