Jimi writes: When Tony Jaa came into the scene with the original Ong Bak, it changed martial arts movies. No wire-fu special effects, hard hitting brutal fights, and even a parkour chase sequence before it became the norm in films. So I have often complained about the sequels to ONG-BAK. Tony Jaa really dropped the ball on those films. How is it that these medieval fantasy epics that takes themselves too seriously be a sequel to modern day parkour kickboxing movie is beyond me? Anyways the Protector is coming out with a sequel in 3D! So here hoping that the Protector 2 (Tom Yum Goong 2) doesn't take place in a fantasy world that doesn't make sense. Could this be the return of Tony Jaa? A combo elbow knee attack in your face in 3 dimensions from a man that is technically a living breathing CGI special effect. >>> Tom Yum Goong 2 - The Protector 2 in 3D submitted by RickSomchai - 2/1/2012 06:25 PM Tom Yum Goong 2 is an upcoming Thai martial arts film starring Tony Jaa and Marrese Crump.
